Transfers to Friedland

The Friedland reception centre (Grenzdurchgangslager Friedland) is located in Lower Saxony near Göttingen and is the single entry point for late repatriates arriving in Germany. From a German international airport you can reach the camp either via several Deutsche Bahn trains with changes in Hannover or Göttingen, or with a direct transfer, the latter is noticeably faster, calmer and more comfortable for a family with luggage.

We meet you in the arrivals area, help carry the suitcases to the minivan and drop you off directly at the camp gate or the specified block. Stops along the way are possible, fuel, coffee, restrooms, feeding a child.

Main routes include transfers from Hannover Airport (HAJ) to Friedland (around 1h 30-2h via the A7), from Frankfurt Airport (FRA) to Friedland (around 3h via the A5 and A7), and from Berlin Brandenburg (BER), Hamburg (HAM), Düsseldorf (DUS), Munich (MUC) and Dortmund (DTM).
